How to reach the Kudremukh trek from Bangalore?
The evening is the best time to depart from Bangalore. Since there are no direct buses to Kudremukh, it is necessary to descend to Kalasa. Additionally, there are very few vehicles serving Kalasa. You may request a seater or a sleeper, depending on your preference.The bus will drop you off near the police station. From there, turn right and proceed a few feet to the petrol station, where you can take the next bus to Kudremukh. The municipal buses begin service at approximately 6:30 a.m. The distance from Kalasa to the beginning of the Kudremukh trek is approximately 10 kilometres. Those travelling in a group may debark at Balegal. When you reach Balegal, you can rent a jeep.
